The Six-Day War 1967: Causes, Course, Consequences.

June 2017 marks the 50th anniversary of the Six-Day War of 1967. This shortest of all wars in the Middle East has shaped the regional balance of power like no other. All subsequent military conflicts and crises, from the Yom Kippur War in 1973 to the Intifada, have been influenced by the results of this war.

The debate on the causes, effects and character of the war continues to this day. The event will present and discuss the causes, course and effects of the war until today.

A brochure commemorating the 50th anniversary of the Six-Day War in 1967 sheds light on this watershed event in the history of the Arab-Israeli conflict. With this brochure, we would like to provide you with information material on the 50th anniversary of the war, which takes an in-depth look at this turning point in the history of the Arab-Israeli conflict.

At an event organized by the German-Israeli Society in cooperation with the Mideast Freedom Forum Berlin, the authors David Labude and Michael Spaney presented the brochure and its main theses.

The brochure was published by the German-Israeli Society. Michael Spaney (MFFB) was the editor.
